Those were some really fun videos! I love it that your so adventurous, keep up the video blogs they are really fun! BTW, we are doing Bach's Magnificat tonight, with mostly student soloist, they are sounding really good and such a mix, from freshman to grad students.

Look at you, you are so much more adventurous than you were a few months ago... I am so proud, lol! I am sorry if I prod you at times, but there is so much wonderful stuff over there to experience and (just as important for food nuts like myself... as Note said, I will try anything) to eat. I personally have never regretted trying something that seems strange to me.

As far as the durian goes, I never said it was good, lol. I am a firm believer in trying it though because it is a singular experience. Never had I had something with such a bad texture and such a horrid smell but a good taste (and I also have never known of a worse bad-breath experience.... were you able to taste the durian breath? lol). While it is far from my favorite, trying durian is almost a food rite of passage. Now when people are talking about strange foods or when you see Andrew Zimmern of Bizarre Foods gagging on durian (he can not stand it) you can say, "I tried that." Plus, the more people that I can talk about different strange foods with, the better.

Speaking of food, did you ever try any of the wonderful goodness in the shrimp heads? I saw you playing with the shrimp heads and just started wondering.

On a completely different side note, has Note given a recital this year? I would love to hear it if he has any recordings...

I am glad you had a good time in China Town. Looking forward to more videos, they have all been great. Tell everybody that I am thinking about them... and the warm weather over there.
